When a Scout records their own sale, their total sales are recalculated and their bonus tier is awarded near real time.
However, when a Scout earns sales credit through a storefront split, meaning someone else recorded the sale but the Scout receives credit for it, that credit isn't reflected in their bonus tier status right away. Instead, it's picked up by a daily process that runs early each morning, which recalculates and awards any bonus tiers earned from that credited activity.
This timing can create a short delay in a couple of specific situations:
Day Split storefronts: If a Scout works a morning reservation shift and their afternoon sales (recorded by a different Scout) would push them above a bonus tier threshold, they won't actually receive the bonus tier until the next morning's process runs. If they are the Scout working in the afternoon and recording the sales, this delay does not apply.
Shift Split storefronts: If a Scout isn't the one entering sales during their shift, the same delay applies. Their bonus tier won't be awarded until the following morning's process runs.
In both cases, the sales themselves are recorded immediately. It's only the bonus tier award that's delayed until the next daily process.
