Account Management & Profile Updates (Scout)

This article explains how to update your Scout’s account information, manage usernames and passwords, and request account changes.

Edit Your Scout’s Account Information

A Scout/parent can update the Scout’s profile in the Trail’s End App®. Note: A leader cannot edit this information on behalf of a Scout.

Trail’s End App®

  1. Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner.

  2. Tap Edit next to your Scout’s name.

  3. Update any of the following:

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email

    • Phone number

    • Marketing communication preferences

  4. Save your changes.


I Have More Than One Username. Can They Be Merged?

Yes, in many cases, usernames can be merged.

Please start a chat with our team and include:

  • Scout’s current usernames (if known), OR

  • Scout’s full name

  • Council, district, and unit


Change Your Scout’s Password

You can reset or change your password in the Trail’s End App® or the Trail’s End Portal.

Option A: Forgot Password (Recommended)

From the login screen:

  1. Tap Forgot password?

  2. Choose to receive the reset link by email or phone.

  3. Enter your username and email or phone number (must match your account).

  4. Tap Send Link to Reset Password.

  5. Use the link to create a new password.

Option B: Change Password from Settings

Trail’s End App®

  1. Tap the gear icon.

  2. Tap Change Password.

  3. Enter your username and current password.

  4. Enter and confirm your new password.

Trail’s End Leader Portal

  1. Expand the Sign-In Info section.

  2. Enter and confirm your new password.

  3. Click Update Password.

Password Requirements

Passwords must include:

  • At least 8 characters

  • 1 uppercase letter

  • 1 lowercase letter

  • 1 special character


Can I Change My Username?

Usernames cannot be edited.

If you need a different username:

⚠️ Important: Historical sales and rewards will remain on the original account and cannot be transferred.
