Council leaders can add bonus commission to a unit from the Council Portal.
Bonus commissions reward specific units with an additional commission percentage on top of their base commission rate.
Need to change a unit's base commission? Your Council decides each unit's base commission rate, and your Trail's End Sales Manager enters it in the system. To change a unit's base rate, contact your Sales Manager.
Step 1: Bonus Commissions Are Set Up by Your Sales Manager
Your Council decides which bonus commissions to offer, and your Trail's End Sales Manager sets them up in the system. Once they're set up, you can apply them to individual units.
Step 2: Apply Bonus Commissions to Units
In the Council Portal, scroll to the bottom of the left navigation menu and click Unit Invoices under the Finance heading.
Click Apply Bonus Commissions in the upper-right corner.
On the Assign Unit Bonus Commissions page, each bonus appears as a column, with units listed by row.
Use the District filter to narrow the unit list, if needed.
Find the unit and check the box in the column for the bonus you want to apply.
You can also reach Apply Bonus Commissions from the Unit Commissions section of the Council Details page.
Changes take effect immediately when checked. A unit can have more than one bonus applied. Each checked bonus adds its percentage on top of the unit's base commission rate.
To remove a bonus from a unit, uncheck the box. The bonus is removed immediately.
