The Scouts page is your central hub for managing your unit's Scouts and tracking their fundraising progress. From here, you can view a Scout's data, access individual Scout profiles, manage your roster, and share your unit code or a Scout's online store.
Your Unit Code
Your unit code is displayed at the top of the Scouts page. Scouts use this code when they register in the Trail's End app to ensure they're linked to the correct unit.
To share your unit code and app download links with Scouts and families, click Share next to the unit code. A modal will appear with your unit code and QR codes for downloading the Trail's End app from the App Store (iPhone & iPad) or Google Play (Android). This is especially handy to display at unit kickoff meetings so families can get set up quickly.
The Scout List
The Scout list gives you a snapshot of every Scout's fundraising activity in one place. Click any column header to sort the list.
Column | What it shows |
Scout | The Scout's name and unique Scout code |
SF Hours Worked | The number of storefront hours the Scout has actually worked |
SF Hours Claimed | The number of storefront hours the Scout has signed up for (including upcoming shifts) |
Sales | The Scout's total sales across all channels |
Goal Progress | How far along the Scout is toward their individual sales goal |
Inventory (retail) | The retail value of any product inventory currently assigned to the Scout |
Cash | Cash sales collected that have not been converted to credit or turned in to the unit leader. |
Undelivered | Whether the Scout has any sales that have been marked undelivered. This indicates the Scout may need that inventory from the unit. |
Viewing a Scout's Profile
Click any Scout's name to open their individual profile. The profile shows:
Sales Progress — total sales toward their goal, with a progress bar
Sales by Channel — a breakdown of sales across Storefront, Individual, and Online
Click View All Sales to see a detailed list of every transaction recorded for that Scout.
Coming soon: Additional functionality will be added to this page, including the following:
Storefront summary statistics regarding storefront sales
Inventory - view and transfer inventory between the unit and Scout
Cash management - See what cash the Scout has and record it as collected
Rewards - points earned breakdown
Sharing a Scout's Online Store
Each Scout has a personal online fundraising store where friends and family can place orders directly. Scouts typically do this from their app, but as a leader you can:
Click the Scout's name to open their profile.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
Select Share.
The Share modal displays:
A QR code linked directly to the Scout's online store
The Scout's unique Scout Code
The Scout's Online Store URL (trails-end.com/store/scout/[code]), with a copy button
You'll also see an Online Store Profile checklist showing whether the Scout has completed their Description, Profile Picture, and Images. This is a quick way to see if their store is ready to share.
Managing Scouts
To move or remove a Scout from your roster:
Click the Scout's name to open their profile.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
Select Move Scout to transfer them to a different unit, or Remove Scout to remove them from your roster.
Note: Removing a Scout does not delete their account. They will be asked to select their new unit the next time they log in.
