Customer Device Payments

How to let a customer pay on their own device using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, or a credit card — by sharing a QR code or checkout link directly from the Trail's End App® during checkout.

Sharing the cart with the Customer's Device allows customers to complete checkout directly on their phone using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, or a credit card.


Sharing the Cart with the Customer's Device

Steps:

  1. Tap Make a Sale in the Trail’s End App®.

  2. Add the products being sold to the cart. When ready to checkout, tap Cart.

  3. Choose Customer Device to checkout.

  4. Have the customer:

    • Scan the QR code with their camera app

    • OR Select Text and enter their phone number to receive a checkout link by text.

  5. Once the customer opens the link, they can complete payment using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, or a credit card.

  6. After payment is completed, the customer will see a confirmation screen.

⚠️ Scouts and parents should confirm they see this screen before completing the sale.
