Beginning September 19th, 2024, all Heroes and Helpers donations recorded in the system will be automatically invoiced each evening and reflected on unit orders.
Benefits of the new process
- Save leaders time by eliminating the need to manually order Heroes & Helpers.
- Ensure all donations are fulfilled correctly to qualifying organizations. (See below).
- All donations (cash and credit) recorded in the app or leader portal will be automatically added to unit invoices each night.
How is this different?
Previously, unit leaders had to manually enter the number of donations sold into their unit orders. With this update, the system will automatically do this for leaders.
What if Heroes and Helpers donations are refunded?
The net change (positive or negative) will be applied to your invoice each night.
Where can I see the total amount of Heroes and Helpers?
- In the leader portal, on the dashboard, scroll to the bottom to see Heroes and Helpers quantities sold.
- On the unit invoice, Heroes and Helpers will be reflected as adjustments to orders.

What is Heroes & Helpers?
The Heroes and Helpers program allows you to send a gift of Trail’s End popcorn to military personnel, first responders, and/or food banks. When you donate to this program, you will also support Scouts, just as with any other product. The only difference is that instead of shipping the product to the purchaser, Trail’s End will ship it to a charitable organization to benefit the community.
Qualifying organizations include military personnel, first responders such as police officers, firefighters, medical service personnel and their families, food banks, and other charitable organizations who provide valuable services to the communities they serve.
