How can I split up leader responsibilities?

Modified on Sat, 04 May 2024 at 11:59 PM

There are many ways to split up tasks needed to run your sale. Here are some examples:

Popcorn Leader - Lead the team.

Storefront Coordinator - Arrange/reserve storefront locations.

Storefront Coverage - Ensure shift coverage by communicating openings or reaching out to people to fill open shifts.

Wagon Sale Coordinator - Make sure the Scouts know how to record the sales in the app and assist with getting them the popcorn needed to fulfill their sales.

Storage - Store popcorn.

Distribution - Distribute to Scouts or Storefronts as needed. Manage/track inventory in the leader portal.

Communications - Keep your unit informed and motivated to reach your goal.

Popcorn Promoter - Celebrate and promote incentives and prizes throughout the sale.

Finance - In charge of accounting and unit popcorn orders.

Kickoff Coordinator - plan and deliver a fun unit kickoff.

Also be sure to think about how Scouts can help and include them on your committee. For example, in a Pack maybe they can make announcements. In a troop, perhaps they can write a weekly newsletter or help recruit Scouts to work open shifts.
