How does Cash to Credit work?

Parents can turn in cash owed for wagon and storefront sales by selecting the 'Pay Now' option and using their credit card. This way, they keep the cash and pay electronically.


Storefront

  • Scouts will be prompted at the end of their shift to turn in the cash collected during the shift by using their credit card. 
  • Scouts will have 30 minutes from the end of the shift (as defined by the shift setup) to make a payment.
  • Rewards credit will be split based on the storefront split.
  • Parent(s) that process the Cash to Credit payment with their card keep that amount of cash.
  • Leaders will see this reflected under 'Manage Cash' for the store for that day.


Wagon

  • Go to the Wagon Sales page and select 'Pay Now' in the middle of the screen.
  • Leaders will see that a parent has paid by clicking the arrow next to a Scout's name and going to 'Manage Cash', then 'View History'. 




Tip: Cash to Credit payments can only be recorded in the app. 

Tip: Using Cash to Credit will turn 1 pt for each (cash) dollar collected into 1.25 pts.


Leader Note: Cash to Credit payments are credited to your bill due to the Council.
