Can Two Storefront Reservations Be Merged into One?
Yes — two storefront reservations can be merged into one storefront only if all of the following conditions are met:
Requirements
The merge request is made after July 24, when all units have unlimited reservations.
The reservations are:
On the same date, and
At the same location.
No Scouts are currently assigned to shifts.
If Scouts Are Assigned to Shifts
Before the merge can happen, you must:
Make a note of Scout names and shift times.
Remove all Scouts from the shifts.
How to Request a Merge
Email [email protected] with:
Storefront date
Store location
Confirmation that no Scouts are currently signed up
I Mistakenly Deleted a Shift. How Do I Get It Back?
For Trail’s End–booked storefronts, deleted shifts cannot be restored directly.
What to Do
The only way to recreate the shift is to:
Release the storefront.
Reserve the storefront again.
Recreate your shifts.
⚠️ Note: Once released, the storefront may be claimed by another unit. Be sure to claim it back quickly and perhaps do this at an off-peak time.
How Do I Transfer a Storefront Reservation to Another Unit?
There is no direct transfer option between units.
Steps to Move a Reservation
Step 1: Remove Scouts from Shifts (if applicable)
Go to the storefront and click the down arrow.
Select Shift Management.
Click the blue arrow next to the shift.
Change the Scout’s status to Withdrawn.
Repeat until no Scouts are assigned.
Step 2: Release the Storefront
Step 3: Reserve the Storefront in the Other Unit
Log into the second unit.
Reserve the storefront as normal.
⚠️ Important Tip: There is no way to prevent another unit from claiming the storefront during the transition. We recommend releasing and reserving 1–2 storefronts at a time to minimize risk.
How Do I Edit Shifts on a Storefront Reservation?
Rules for Trail’s End–Booked Storefronts
All shifts created must be within the total reservation time.
Example: If your reservation is 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, all shifts must fall within that timeframe.
Note: When the reservation is created, shifts are generated using your default storefront settings.
Important Guidelines When Modifying Shifts
✅ Keep the first and last shifts
If you delete the first or last shift, you may not be able to add it back.
✅ Avoid overlapping shifts
You cannot create shifts that overlap in time.
Adjust Shifts in order to avoid overlaps
Original shifts:
10–12
12–2
2–4
4–6
Goal:
11–1
1–3
3–5
How to proceed, making sure there is never an overlapping shift:
Delete 12-2 (a middle shift).
Change 10–12 → 11–1
Change 2-4 → 1-3
Change 4–6 → 3–5
Steps to Modify Shifts
Go to Manage Storefronts.
Click the down arrow under the storefront.
Select Shift Management.
Click into the time box.
Select the new time and click OK.
Unit-Booked Storefronts
For storefronts booked directly by a unit, the steps are the same.
The rules are not restricted:
You are not restricted by Trail’s End time constraints.
Deleting first or last shifts does not cause the same limitations.
