How Scouts Sign Up for Storefront Shifts
Scouts (or parents) can sign up for storefront shifts using the Trail’s End App.
Open the Trail’s End App.
From the dashboard, tap Storefronts.
Tap Sign up for Shifts.
Use the calendar to find the date you’re interested in.
Available storefronts and shifts for that date will be displayed.
If other Scouts are already signed up, you’ll see a person icon next to the shift.
Tap the storefront you want to sign up for. This will open the sign-up screen.
Select the shift(s) you want to work.
Tap Sign up for Shift.
Once signed up:
Your selected shifts will appear blue on the sign-up screen.
They will also display under Upcoming Shifts in the app.
Can I Withdraw From a Storefront Shift?
Scouts cannot withdraw from a storefront shift within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.
If a conflict arises within 24 hours:
Please contact your unit leader as soon as possible for assistance.
This policy helps units ensure storefronts are properly staffed.
Storefront Shift Reminders
Yes. The Trail’s End App sends automatic shift reminders to help Scouts remember when and where they’re scheduled to work.
Adding Storefront Shifts to Your Calendar
Scouts can add their storefront shifts to their device’s calendar.
Important Note: The Add to Calendar feature only works if you use the default calendar app on your device.
