Do I need a Square account to take credit cards?

The Trail's End app uses Square technology, but you do not need a Square account. You will only need the Trail's End app to accept credit cards.

Having a Square Reader is optional. You can plug in or connect to a Square Reader while using the Trail's End app to swipe cards, or you can enter them manually. Either way, the credit card processing fees are covered by Trail's End when using the Trail's End app. 

Note: Square fees are not covered if using a Square account/Square app.
