Why Are There No Available Stores in My Area?
Step 1: Confirm Reservations Are Open
If you see UNAVAILABLE on every storefront, reservations have not started yet.
You can find the reservation start date and time in the upper right corner of the Reserve Storefronts™ page.
Step 2: Check Whether Stores Exist in Your Area
By default, the Reserve Storefronts™ page shows open reservations in your district only.
To broaden your view:
Click Show Reserved (upper left corner) to see storefronts already claimed by other units.
Select All Districts from the drop-down menu to view neighboring districts.
If no stores appear after these steps, Trail’s End was unable to confirm storefront locations in your area.
✅ In this case, you are welcome to contact local stores directly and request time for your unit.
Why Is a 'Particular Store' Not Listed?
Trail’s End schedules storefronts based on foot traffic, historical sales, and store approval.
A store may not appear because:
The store did not confirm availability.
The store declined participation.
The store was not selected based on performance data.
It is also possible the store has already been reserved by another unit.

How Can I See Storefront Reservations Claimed by Other Units?
When you enter the Reserve Storefronts™ page, the default view shows only open reservations.
To see claimed storefronts:
This will display storefronts already reserved by other units.
Why Is a Particular Store Only Showing on a Few Dates?
Trail’s End carefully limits storefront bookings to match demand and store preferences.
This may happen because:
Only certain dates met performance expectations.
The store limited the number of dates they allowed.
Historical sales data indicated lower demand on other dates.
We intentionally avoid booking more hours than needed. Overbooking can strain relationships with stores and reduce opportunities for all organizations.
How Can I View the Stores Contacted in My Council?
All storefronts reserved by Trail’s End are visible on the Reserve Storefronts™ page.
Tips:
The default view shows only your district.
Click Show Reserved to view stores already claimed.
Select All Districts to see additional locations in your Council.
Why Were Stores Booked for Fewer Hours Than Previous Years?
Trail’s End adjusted storefront scheduling to help units focus on the most successful selling hours.
Focus on High-Performance Hours
We prioritize storefronts capable of generating $300/hour or more in sales.
Early morning (8–10am) and evening (6–8pm) shifts often had low sales or went unclaimed, so they were reduced.
Most bookings now focus on 10am–6pm, when sales are strongest.
Easier Staffing for Units
Long 12-hour schedules were difficult to fully staff.
Shorter, targeted hours help units avoid gaps and maximize sales.
Store & Partner Preferences
Many stores prefer shorter Scout presence rather than full-day schedules.
Adjusted hours help maintain strong relationships with corporate partners.
Weekday Variations
Some weekday shifts were removed due to low foot traffic or store restrictions.
Availability varies by location based on performance and store approval.
Options for Additional Locations or Hours
