What is the Plant a Tree Promotion?

Customers can support local Scouts and the environment by purchasing a tree to plant. Each tree purchased helps fund Scouting and contributes to reforestation and conservation efforts in Southern Indiana.

How to Purchase

Trees will be available for $20 each at trails-end.com
Sales can only be made through a Scout’s Online Fundraising Page (How to share)
Trees will not be available in the app
Trees will be the only product available online during the promotion window

What Scouts & Units Earn

Double Rewards: Scouts earn 2.5 points per dollar sold
- Points are added as Trail’s End Rewards and redeemable with other earned points
45% Commission for Units on all tree sales during the promotion
- Extra commission will be credited to the unit account after the promotion ends
No Popcorn Commitment Required: Units do not need to be signed up for the popcorn fundraiser, but must belong to a Council that sells Trail’s End products

About the Tree Planting Effort

Location: Along the Wabash River in Southern Indiana
Partner: Trees will be planted by a third-party non-profit focused on regional conservation
Purpose:
- Reduce flooding risk
- Create habitat for rare plants and animals
- Support migratory birds
- Protect and restore the Wabash River watershed

Legal Disclaimer: This Online Sales Promotion is effective July 3, 2025, at 8:00pm ET through July 7, 2025, at 7:59pm ET (for the purpose of this promotion only, the “Promotion Term”). During the Promotion Term, customers may support Scouts and help the environment by purchasing trees to plant via Trail’s End’s website, trails-end.com. Scouts who participate in the Trail’s End Prize Program and complete qualifying online tree sales during the Promotion Term shall receive two and one half (2.5) TE Rewards Program Points for every dollar of qualifying online sales made during this period. In addition, participating units will earn forty-five percent (45%) commission on all qualifying online tree sales during the Promotion Term.

Online tree sales are defined as sales made exclusively through a Prize Program Scout’s Online Fundraising Page utilizing the Scout’s unique identifying code as provided via the Trail’s End App. No other products will be available for purchase online during the Promotion Term. Only qualified Prize Program Scouts affiliated with a Scouting America council engaged in properly documented Trail’s End online fundraising, as determined by Trail’s End in its sole discretion, are eligible to participate. All potentially qualifying sales are subject to final review by Trail’s End, in its sole discretion.
