Order Forms

Updated this week

Trail’s End strongly encourages Scouts to enter sales in real time using the Trail’s End App whenever possible. Real-time entry ensures accurate Scout credit, up-to-date dashboards, smoother ordering for Unit Leaders and the ability to accept Credit Cards from supporters.

However, we understand that some units and Scouts still ask about paper order forms. Below is important information to help you understand your options.

Why We Recommend Using the Trail’s End App

Entering sales directly in the Trail’s End App is the preferred method because it:

  • Allows the use of Credit Cards (preferred payment method for many)

  • Gives Scouts immediate credit for their sales

  • Keeps dashboards accurate and up to date

  • Helps Unit Leaders place correct product orders

  • Reduces errors or lost paperwork

  • Eliminates the need for manual data entry later

Whenever possible, Scouts should record sales in the app instead of using paper forms.

Looking for a Product List or Visual Reference?

If you need a visual guide to Trail’s End products and prices, Leaders can find a fillable form in the Training section of the Leader Portal.

This is a good way to show available products with supporters.

Still Need a Paper Order Form?

Product availability and pricing vary by Council, so the forms are specific to each Council.

If you need a paper order form:

  • Check your local Council’s website (many Councils provide a PDF version)

  • Contact your Council for the correct form and pricing

Important: Paper Orders Must Still Be Entered

If a paper order form is used, the sales must be entered into the Trail’s End system so that:

  • Scouts receive credit for their sales

  • Unit Leaders can sum and order the correct products

  • Rewards and reports are accurate

Scouts are encouraged to enter their own orders in the app rather than turning paper forms in to their Unit Leader.
