How storefront sales are split is up to your unit and your leader will set this up on their end. There are four preset options for allocating storefront sales which are listed below. If you have questions regarding how your unit is set up, please reach out to your unit leader.
- "Individual Split" - Scouts will receive credit for each sale recorded.
- "Split by Shift" - Sales will be split between all Scouts registered for the storefront shift, regardless of the Scout that records the sale.
- "Split by Day" - Sales will be split among Scouts registered to work at a given storefront that day. Based on the amount of time the Scout is registered to work at the store, the system will divide the total sales for the day by number of Scout hours, and Scouts will receive sales credit based on the store's hourly rate.
- "Split over entire Year"- Scouts will receive credit for the hours they sold at Storefronts multiplied by the average hourly rate sold by the Unit for the entire Selling Season. Example. If the Unit as a whole sold $1,000 total at Storefronts over 10 hours, that means they sold $100 per hour. If a Scout worked 4 of the 10 hours, they would receive $400 of the $1,000 made during the year.
